Talking About Suicide

Posted on 05/20/2014 12:20:00 PM

I came across another website that is working to reduce stigma related to mental illness. Its focus is specific to suicide. Suicide, whether it is completed or not, is a very upsetting topic. This blog, TalkingAboutSuicide.com is a collection of interviews going back to 2011 with people who have personal experiences with suicide. The blog's author intends to provide information, and document experiences people have. Most are attempt survivors.

This site may be a trigger, so be mindful. I include this site on the blog primarily for support members to understand what may be going on for loved ones who may be struggling with suicidal ideation, and to read what has and hasn't been helpful for others.
