Join Our Team at MidValley Healthcare

Established in August 2009, MidValley Healthcare began as an intensive outpatient (IOP) clinic and expanded in 2015 to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient behavioral health care. Today, we operate the Treasure Valley's largest inpatient behavioral health facility in Boise, Idaho.

Position Available: Physician Associate (PA-C) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

We are seeking a dedicated PA-C or FNP to join our inpatient primary medical team. This role offers full-time, part-time, or contract opportunities for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inpatient History & Physicals (H&Ps) and medical consultations independently under the supervision of our medical director.
  • Participate in an every-other-weekend rotation.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, perform therapeutic procedures, and develop follow-up treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and manage medications, monitor for side effects, and provide patient education for informed consent.
  • Collaborate with pharmacies, psychiatrists, caregivers, case managers, and therapists to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation using Credible, our electronic medical records system.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Certified Physician Associate (PA-C).
  • Proficient in primary medical health diagnoses and treatments.
  • Eligible for or holding a valid Idaho FNP or PA-C license, current DEA/DPS certification, and up-to-date CME as required by the Idaho Licensing Board.
  • Ability to obtain or maintain valid malpractice insurance.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
  • Strong verbal, written, and computer skills.
