Well established medical office with two locations in the Treasure Valley is looking to fill a position on our administrative team. The ideal candidate will be trained as a medical assistant, have strong computer skills, strong communication skills, an outstanding personality, and previous experience working in a medical office. A high school diploma or GED is required. Experience in a psychiatric medical office is a plus but not required.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • TMS technician (training and certification provided)
  • Set up and submit Prior Authorizations
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Check in and check out Patients
  • Answer multi-line phone system and transfer to the appropriate staff member
  • Take and distribute accurate messages
  • Fax, scan, and copy documents
  • Maintain office filing and storage systems
  • UDS collections
  • Data entry

Positions available for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners at our busy, well-established behavioral health clinic, centrally located in the Treasure Valley with two locations. We provide psychiatric inpatient and outpatient care. Positions are available for contract work on weekends and for covering vacations. New graduates are welcome! Receive excellent training from two of the Treasure Valley’s best Psychiatrists with over 25+ years of shared experience.

Job Details:

  • Weekend days: Saturday and Sunday
  • Flexible hours between 8am and 6pm

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree as a certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
  • Possess a working knowledge of behavioral health diagnosis and treatments
  • Must be able to obtain or possess a valid Idaho PMHNP license, current DEA/DPS, and required CME as per Idaho Licensing Board
  • Able to conduct and complete Initial Psychiatric Evaluations including clinical risk assessment, and treatment recommendations; follow-up care
  • Prescribe, administer, and review medications of assigned clients. Regularly monitor side effects of prescribed medications. Provide clients with information necessary to make informed consents.
  • Provide backup support to other members of the psychiatric team.
  • Order and perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures, interpret associated test results for deviations from normal baseline, and provide follow-up treatment plans.
  • Possess a willingness to learn and incorporate cutting-edge Behavioral Health treatments (e.g., TMS therapy)
  • Coordination with others involved in clients' care, such as Pharmacies, Caregivers, Case Managers, and Therapists for continuity of care.
  • Maintain standards of confidentiality and documentation.
  • Provide thorough and timely documentation using Credible, an electronic medical records system, or paper charts and prescription program
  • Excellent verbal, written, and computer skills
