Telemedicine is an effective way to manage one's behavioral health care. It allows for convenient access to our behavioral health providers and counselors. We are able to establish new patients, monitor care in follow-ups, e-prescribe medications, and conduct many therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy. Our team of licensed professionals are able to effectively treat depression, anxiety, mood disorders, couples/family counseling, and individual counseling for behavioral health, addiction recovery, or co-occurring.

What equipment do I need?

  • A computer or mobile device such as a Desktop computer, Laptop computer, Tablet, or Smartphone. Mac, Windows, Apple, or Android
  • An integrated or external microphone. Most mobile devices and computers will have a built-in microphone that should work fine. If your device does not have one, you will need to find a separate microphone. Luckily, there are tons of inexpensive options to purchase.
  • An integrated or external camera. Like with microphones, many devices now already have an integrated camera. However, if you are using a desktop computer or older laptop, they might not have a built-in webcam. There are tons of options to purchase one online or locally if needed.
  • Secure internet connection. Having a solid internet connection is a crucial piece of having a successful telemedicine visit. A few baseline requirements and tips: Ideally, your internet speeds should be at least 15Mbps download and 5Mbps upload. While video streaming can happen with slower internet connections, these are the speeds needed to have the clear video experience you want. You can check your internet speed at www.speedtest.net.
